RAIDS

Researchers of AI for Industrial Digital Servitization

By embracing cutting-edge AI, digital technologies, and smart robotic solutions, the RAIDS Group pursues a vision of developing human–robot collaborative and embodied-intelligent manufacturing systems in which people and robots can interact naturally, collaborate cost-effectively, and dynamically co-evolve within a socio-technical ecosystem.

About Us

The Research Group of AI for Industrial Digital Servitization (RAIDS) was established in 2020 at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Vision

Towards Next-Generation Human–Machine Symbiotic Manufacturing Systems, Equipment & Scenarios

Value

SURE: Solid, Unique, Radical, Elite.

Mission

To develop advanced robotic solutions, digitalized services, and AI agents that enable more natural human–machine interaction, efficient multi-robot and human–robot collaboration, and the deployment of industrial embodied intelligence.

Aims & Scope

RAIDS research scope: integrating Industrial Internet, digital technologies, AI, and service-dominant logic toward human-cyber-physical and human-machine symbiotic digitalized service systems
RAIDS and CobotAI tech roadmap: multimodality human-robot interactions, cross-domain robotic skill learning, and foundation-model based execution systems
